Chapter 1
As from the last story the old shaman Graybeard dies, but a new shaman has awoken, Tao. Tao feels he needs to contact the Mountain People to make
things right. So Tao wakes up, eats rabbit breast, and is ready to venture. He gets his deerskin pouch, his drawing tools, and a mighty steady spear. Tao crosses the river that leads to Mountain People Territory. As soon as he takes a step he is confronted by a tall young man which says " Who are you"?. Tao responds "I am the new cave painter and have took the place of the legendary shaman, Graybeard. The tall young man is shocked the expression in his face is dumbfounded and says " Fool! You can never take the spot of my father!. Tao with great question flying through his mind responds
" Your fatherrr???. "Yes my father! I am proud son of Graybeard my name is Great Wolf. " I Tao am not here to make forget of your father he was very
wise, he taught me much. "So you are Tao?" " I did hear my father say you have potential to take his steps." says Great Wolf. " But you do not want to
cave paint?" asked Tao. "No" Great Wolf said, " I want to be a man with courage i want to be a hunter. "Very well", "Do you want to go on my journey
with me clan by clan?" Great Wolf responded " PSH! I need you to show me if you can even fight. Tao was furious and in a firm voice responded, "
I Defeated Saxon!". " He is undefeated you saying that!, I take you word, as well journey with you.
Chapter 2
Tao is close to arriving to the clan but on the way he from all of a sudden is thinking of his mom. Then he remembers of what Volt had told him. He is so
curious of his mom he know so few but so much to learn. He knows is like him in character wise but how does she look how does she think? Some
questions of these might never be answered but as well as Tao loving to be a new cave painter he wants to know how his mother die. Is there a story
that truly happened to his mom. All of a sudden he thinking maybe Great Wolf mom perhaps knows about Tao's mom. Tao asks Great Wolf " Did your
mom ever travel with your father from clan to clan? " Yes she did, she even knew your clan pretty well." He responds. " Did your mother even met my
mom by any chance? " I believe she did. Great Wolf says. Tao's face brightened up and he was thinking of how to approach and ask him if his mom
would recall Tao's mother. " Does your mom still live by any chance? " No" She died many summers ago," Ghost wolf replied. But she did gave me all
of her journals and diaries to remember her. Tao was happy now he would find out what happened to his mom. Maybe those other stories were fake and
they would not tell Tao the truth due to young age or how he would take it.
Chapter 3
So Tao and Great Wolf continue on their journey to meet the mountain people. Once they arrive to the clan Tao searches for the clan leader. Only to find out that the leader died last night. A young woman at that same moment said to Tao " But we would want you Tao to be our new leader." Tao did not pay
attention but was distracted by the young woman she about the same age as Tao she was very cute. "Very well" " One question what is your name?"
" My name is Carla." " I grow up alone with no father or mother they passed away when i was a infant." She said. " Ahhhh I grew as well like you. He
replied. " Can i answer the your question in two days? I must rest and eat. I will have to go over it. " Very well please stay and sleep here. " Thank you I will" Tao replied. That same night Tao was thinking about Carla and how she grew up like Tao. Tao was maybe in love with her. But him and ghost wolf went to sleep.
Chapter 4.
That next morning Tao and Great Wolf went to Carla early, he told her that he was the new shaman. " So you took the spot the of the wise Graybeard?
" Yes i did, he taught me how to paint and draw." " Well there is not any rules saying you cant be a clan leader as well being a shaman or is there? she
said. " True but it would be hard but i accept the job as clan leader." " Very well" she said. " Come back in one week for there will be a feast in your
honor. she said. " Ok right now i have to travel i will be back soon, Farewell." He said. Carla waved goodbye with a smile on her face.
